Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited is looking for a proactive and visionary Sales Manager to lead its Special Market Division , with a focus on Welfare Insurance. This role targets churches, associations, cooperatives, unions, and other community-based groups, offering tailored insurance solutions to meet their unique needs. As a strategic business developer and team leader, you will be responsible for driving market expansion, building solid client relationships, and creating high-impact outreach strategies to achieve sales success in this niche sector.RESPONSIBILITIESDeeply understand the welfare insurance market and products.
Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing sales team.
Conduct high-level corporate presentations and client engagements.
Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and organizations.
Identify new opportunities and close high-value deals.
Monitor competitor activities and adapt sales strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless client onboarding.
Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Generate accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports.
RequirementsA Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Insurance, Business or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Welfare Insurance or Group Sales.
Strong background in recruiting and managing field sales teams.
Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong leadership with problem-solving orientation.
High-level networking abilities and interpersonal skills.
Client-focused with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Analytical mindset with market trend awareness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
