Full Job Description
The Sales Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and operational efficiency through effective management of the Distribution and Channel network. He is responsible for optimizing the efficiency of the sales Infrastructure. He/she will be responsible for developing the Sales Strategy, for Sales Planning and Forecasting, for Optimizing Sales Process to ensure maximum output. He will be responsible for Performance Management and oversee the implementation of competitive compensation and incentives to motivate the Sales Team.
The Sales Operations Manager role will include:
• To develop sales operations and channel
strategy to drive market share growth.
• Support in developing
Best-In-Class Channel Distribution across the country.
•
Support to grow Acquisition and Revenue Market Share across All
channels.
• Manage and develop team capability.
A. Sales
Operations, Innovation and Solutions:
• Collaborate with Senior
Management to develop and implement sales strategies that align with
companies’ overall objectives and revenue targets.
• Develop
tools, resources, and collateral to ensure end-to-end support to the
team throughout the sales process.
• Develop Sales plans and
quota to ensure sales targets are met by analysing sales data and
market trends.
• Drive innovation through DMS 3.0 –
Distribution Intensity, Digitization and Performance reporting.

Be responsible for Sales Performance management and design of
competitive compensation and incentives.
• Be responsible for
Vodafone cash channel management
B. Distribution and Channels Management:
• Leadership of the Channel management
teams to provide marketing collateral support on all products and
campaigns to all channels to deliver value and growth and enhance
trade visibility.
• Lead the channel team to develop
appropriate trade loyalty schemes and performance metrics and measures
to grow distribution and revenue.
• Responsible for new channel
developments for both Franchises, Distributors and Vodafone Owned and
Look and Feel of all touch points.
• Overall responsibility in
efficient order to delivery of stocks (both physical and electronic)
to all channels (Retail Shops, Franchises, Distributors and Sales
team) aligned to agreed SLAs.
• Responsible for channel
capability in collaboration with HR Learning.
C. Profit &
Loss Management
• Overall responsibility in managing Sales,
Distribution publicity budget to deliver spend efficiency.
•
Managing Sales Operations costs to deliver positive Return on
Investment
D. Developing Sales and Distribution capabilities
• Collaborating with Human Resource Department to identify
gaps and develop capacity and capabilities of the Sales Operations and
Channel team.
• Developing talent matrix in managing succession
planning within the Sales Operations and Channel unit
Excellent
leadership and management skills, with the motivate a team to achieve
common goals. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing
external partners.
Understanding and proven capability of
working within an environment of rapid operational and cultural
change.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the
organisation.
Strategic mindset with the ability to develop
long-term distribution strategies that align with organisational
objectives.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving
skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
marketing, logistics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’
experience in Sales Operations, distribution, or channels
management
• Proficiency in using distribution management
software and other related tools.
