Sales Manager – Tanzania ,Uganda & Ethiopia

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating annual budget, devising quarterly and monthly plan for the Countries Assigned.
  • Create and Manage Channel Partner network for products under the Distribution Product Portfolio
  • Achieve revenue, gross margin expectation, customer breadth within set expectations.
  • Devise accurate planning & forecasting by respective Channels to achieve Vendor Quotas.
  • Submit accurate and timely weekly / monthly / quarterly sales reports to the Line manager to facilitate a comprehensive sales performance review and proper planning for the various segments.
  • Formulate and implement a successful GTM strategy all Channels – Dealers/ Resellers, IR , Mass Retail , System Integrators , Omni Channel and Telco
  • Head and Execute Projects in Telco/ EDU Mobility & IT Projects through Partners.
  • Collaborate with multiple Lines of Product Managers in execution of Product and Sales Strategies in the Region.
  • Develop and implement various ATL & BTL activities in line with Vendor & Dexiconn objectives.
  • Worked closely with HQ HR team, to recruit, coach and manage team in the respective region.
  • Coordinate & Support the Operations of Dexiconn in liaising with HQ for all the commercial and administrative needs in the region.
  • Participate and represent the company at Trade exhibitions, events and promotions in order to attract new customers, promote our brand and enhance customers’ awareness of the Dexiconn product range.

Requirements

  • In depth understanding of IT Distribution among all Channels in Tanzania and other regional experiences in the East -African markets are preferred.
  • Key Relationship with Stake Holders in the IT Channel – Resellers, System Integrators and Retailers are a must for the Position.
  • Proven track record in building and nurturing channels in the capacity of distribution or with  Vendor Sales team with  focus on achieving annual and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing IT distribution - In country operations and Business Practices.
  • Ability to travel to other key regions in the focus countries for new business development activities including channel recruitment and expansion.
  • Preference will be given to Local Tanzanian Resident Candidate with Fluency in English and local language.
