Our client is a subsidiary of a Ghanaian Conglomerate with operations
in Shipping, Aviation & Logistics, Oil & Gas Exploration,
Construction, Development Management & Supply, Commodities Trading,
Mining Agribusiness & Agro Food Processing as well as Private Security
Services.
Scope
The Production Supervisor will be expected to supervise
the Salt harvesting, Salt quality Management & Brine Management
activities related to production. Assist the Production Manager to
organize production priorities ensuring compliance to operating
standards and procedures in order to achieve optimal production
outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in supervising
all works relating to the creation of pans, dykes, embankments, etc.
ensuring the delivery of the best possible outcomes
- Work with the quality control teams to ensure that the salt
produced is clean and of the best quality
- Oversee
all production related issues by serving as the first point of call
- Keep key stakeholders informed to effectively
mitigate any production risk
- Liaise with appropriate
teams to deal with all administrative issues pertaining to production
- Coordinate the allocation of production resources to
ensure productivity and efficiency
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering,
chemistry or any other relevant field
- At least five
(5) years’ experience in the same or similar role
- Experience in the salt industry is preferred
- Unrivalled observational and conflict management skills
- Effective coordination and management skills
- Possess excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal
skills .
