Production Manager (Food Industry)

Full Job Description

We are looking for a production Manager to supervises about 250 workers including  supervisors allocated in our 3 main units(Oil palm mill, Refinery, bottling Plant). The Ideal candidate should posses proven over 5 years experience in a similar position preferably in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production department performance
• Ensure proper application of quality assurance and HSE policy

• Manage and control all the interventions carried out by the internal technical services or by the external service providers and propose improvements in the performance of the machines in terms of costs and utilization rates

• Analyze data and produce production reports

• Supervise the proper budget management of the various production costs

• Ensure a technological watch

•  Integrate health and personal safety into all its actions

• Organize the teams, manage them administratively, plan their training needs

•  Participate in the recruitment of new employees, in support of HR

• Evaluate, develop, motivate and mobilize teams of employees

• Implement an internal skills development policy and retain its teams

• Establish dashboards and monthly and annual activity reports

• BSC in food industry or electromechanics Engineer
• 7-10 years minimum in a similar position preferably in the food industry
• Knowledge of CAPM
• Mastery of techniques for developing work procedures.
• Good knowledge in the technique of setting up a provisional schedule
• General skills in mechanics, electricity, laboratory techniques
• Managerial skills to manage teams.
• Good Communication Skills
• Ability to be available as soon as the situation requires it
•  Know how to meet deadlines and plan your time
• Calm Indispensable to deal with emergencies and daily demands.

Proposed Net Salary:  GHS 10000-13000

Place of Work: Kade, Eastern Region
