Manager Business Administration
About The Job
Hapag-Lloyd Ghana is searching for a
Manager Business Administration to be responsible for directing,
planning and coordinating business administration activities for the
country to ensure integrity of process, internal controls, bookkeeping
and cost saving strategies.
Your Responsibility
·Budgeting (Budget adjustment and quarterlyForecasts)of
OverheadCosts Producemonthlytrendanalysis and maintenance
ofcosts standards. Managethe
BusinessAdministrationandControllingfunctionof Ghana.
ParticipateinPerformanceManagementofthevariousbusinessunits.
ManageFinanceClosureAdministration(Month/Quarter/YearEnd)withinthecompanyguidelines.
Manageand overseeexternalandinternalauditsand
ensureunqualified reportsreceived.
ManagetheBalanceSheetandIncomeStatement Accountsand
reconciliationthereof.
ManageAccountsReceivablesandPayables within thecompanyguidelines
Responsibleforcostsavinginitiativesandprocurement(OperationalandOverheadcosts)andprovidefeedbackandproposals
to the procurement committee.
ResponsiblefortheRiskmanagementoftheGhanaoffice.
ManagetheCashFlowoftheCountrywithinthecompanyguidelines
SupervisionofCountry levelBusinessSystems group.
MaintainafeedbackchanneltoAreaMAWBUheads,ensuringalignmentwithstrategicobjectivesandgoalsoftheGhana
office Managementof CountryStatutoryRecords andReporting
ManagementofCountryAdminfunction Ensure
totalCompliancetoHapag Lloydglobalstandardsandpoliciesaswellaslocal
regulatorylaws.
SupporttheCountryManagerinrelationtoBAintheimplementationofpoliciesanddaytodayactivities.
Providereportsandanalyzekeydatatodriveimprovement.
ResponsibleforsettingtargetsandgoalsforindividualdepartmentswithinBusinessAdministrationandsupportingwith
appropriate training and development.
CoachanddevelopBAteammembers.Haveregularperformancereviewsinlinewithcompany’spolicy
andAreaManagement requirement.
Resolutionofhigh-levelconcerns
Assistmanagerswithproblemsolvingandprovideguidelinesregardingdepartmentalandpersonnelrelatedissues.
Createandmaintainanopencommunication channelwithin
Department, Areaand Region Liaise with Area Africa Office
for all Controllingrelatedmatters. Y Your Profile
Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics
MBA or professional certification (ACCA, CA, CIMA etc.) will be
an added advantage Vast experience in a shipping company or
an adjacent industry Proven leadership experience having
successfully managed small expert teams. Good communication
skills Profound knowledge of accounting, finance, tax and
legal requirements (local and IFRS) Strong analytics and
