or a related field.Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably
in an industrial or manufacturing setting, for 1-3 years.Knowledge of

to engage with employees at all levels.Ability to work independently
as well as collaboratively within a team.Certification in First Aid,

Description:
As a Junior Safety Officer, you will play a
crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees
within our steel manufacturing facility. Under the guidance of the
Senior Safety Officer, you will assist in the implementation and
enforcement of safety protocols and procedures. Your main
responsibilities will include:
1. Inspection and Monitoring:
Conduct regular safety inspections across the plant to
identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure compliance
with safety regulations and company policies. Report
findings to the Senior Safety Officer and collaborate on developing
improvement strategies. 2. Incident Reporting and
Investigation:
Promptly respond to and investigate any
safety-related incidents, accidents, or near-miss situations.
Document all incidents, prepare detailed reports, and
make recommendations to prevent recurrence. Coordinate
with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive
measures. 3. Training and Awareness:
Assist in organizing safety training programs for employees,
emphasizing safe work practices and the proper use of safety
equipment. Promote safety awareness among employees
through regular communication, posters, and workshops.
Maintain safety-related materials and resources accessible to all
staff. 4. Safety Compliance:
Keep
up-to-date with local, state, and federal safety regulations, and
ensure adherence to relevant standards. Collaborate
with different departments to ensure safety compliance in all
operations and activities. Support the development and
implementation of emergency response plans. 5. Safety
Culture and Improvement:
Act as a safety advocate and
inspire a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
Propose and implement safety improvement initiatives,
encouraging employee involvement and feedback.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of safety programs and
