Descriptionof the tasks of the mission

· Analyze data or insights todetermine industry and consumer trends.

· Devise long-term developmentstrategies for product categories.

· Develop exit strategies forunsuccessful products.

· Foster trust relationships withvendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.

· Place appropriate orders to ensureproduct availability that meets consumer demands.

· Determine the positioning of aproduct category to maximize visibility.

· Liaise with marketing teams todetermine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product.

· Collaborate with buyers andmerchandisers to expand product categories.

· Make forecasts for product demand toensure the sustainability of inventory.

· Assume responsibility of budgetdevelopment and revenue for department.

· Proven experience as categorymanager or similar role.

· Solid knowledge of categorymanagement, marketing, and sales principles.

· Understanding of data analysis andforecasting methods.

· Proficient in MS Office.

· An analytical mind with a strategicability

· Excellent communication and peopleskills

· BSc/BAin business administration, marketing, or related field
